Terms of Service

By accessing or using C Dance AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of such changes.

C Dance AI is an AI-powered image and video generation platform that allows users to create media from text descriptions, images, video references, audio, and other inputs. The Service includes:

• Text-to-video generation
• Image-to-video conversion
• AI image generation and editing
• AI-powered video editing and enhancement
• Audio-aware creation workflows
• Access to our web-based platform and API where applicable

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Not share your account with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate or upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content
• Generate, request, upload, sell, or distribute NSFW, sexually explicit, pornographic, escort, or adult digital content
• Create deepfakes, impersonation, synthetic identity content, or misleading media intended to deceive, harass, defraud, or manipulate others
• Generate, request, upload, or distribute content involving minors in sexual, exploitative, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate contexts
• Violate intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, contractual rights, or other third-party rights
• Upload images, videos, audio, logos, brands, people, or other assets that you do not have the legal right to use
• Use the Service for illegal activity, fraud, phishing, scams, spam, malware, surveillance, or evasion of law enforcement
• Operate the Service as a file-sharing platform, resale marketplace, adult-content service, or unauthorized content distribution service
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Circumvent usage limits, safety systems, watermarking, provenance signals, or technical restrictions

Violation of this policy may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, account suspension or termination, denial of refunds, and legal action where appropriate.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your content solely to provide the Service.

Generated Content: Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, you own the videos and content generated using our Service. However, we reserve the right to use anonymized and aggregated data to improve the Service and its workflows.

Our Platform: Our original platform software, interface designs, C Dance AI branding, and safety systems are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party models, names, and marks remain the property of their respective rights holders. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer protected parts of our platform.

Pricing: Our pricing plans are available at https://cdance.ai/pricing. Prices, credit amounts, validity windows, and subscription intervals are shown before checkout and may change with notice.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed by Stripe and/or PayPal. We do not ask you to send card numbers, PayPal passwords, or private payment credentials by email or chat.

Billing: Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Prepaid yearly memberships are charged once for the displayed annual access period and may be manually repurchased.

Subscription Credit Rollover: When a monthly subscription renews successfully, unused monthly credits that are still valid in the immediately preceding paid period roll forward until the end of the newly paid month. When a prepaid yearly membership is successfully repurchased, unused yearly credits that are still valid at payment time roll forward until the end of the new yearly access period. Credits that expired before the successful renewal or repurchase are not restored. If renewal or repurchase is not completed, the existing displayed expiration date is not extended.

Refunds and Cancellation: Unused credit purchases or subscription payments may be eligible for refund review only if requested within 3 calendar days (72 hours) of purchase or renewal. An order is considered used once credits are consumed, a paid generation task is successfully submitted, or paid plan benefits are used. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Verified duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, unauthorized payments, and platform-side failed generations may be handled separately. Usage Limits: Each plan includes specific credit allocations, validity windows, member rates, or generation limits. Actual credit usage varies by model, duration, resolution, reference inputs, audio, and other settings.

We use automated checks, provider safeguards, and human review of reports to enforce our content policies. Automated checks may review prompts and supported reference images before generation, can make mistakes, and do not mean that content is lawful or permitted. Paid access, private visibility, and watermark-free output do not bypass these rules.

We reserve the right to:

• Block generation or review content generated or uploaded to our platform
• Restrict visibility or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws
• Preserve relevant records and suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations
• Report illegal content to appropriate authorities where legally required

Report suspected child-safety violations, non-consensual intimate content, sexual content, impersonation or harmful deepfakes, privacy violations, or other illegal or harmful content through our Safety and Content Reporting page or at support@cdance.ai. Include the content URL or task ID and do not attach illegal material. Users may appeal a moderation decision by replying to the report email or contacting support with the task ID.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of generated content
• Security of data transmission

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
• Third-party content or actions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload or generate

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account and content, though we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation
• Binding arbitration where permitted by law if negotiation fails
• State or federal courts located in Delaware, United States, for matters not subject to arbitration

You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

Our complete Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms and lists the six prohibited categories, zero-tolerance violations, moderation, reporting, response targets, enforcement, and appeals. We use automated checks, provider safeguards, human review, and periodic evaluation. Paid access, private visibility, and watermark-free output do not bypass these rules. Report child-safety issues, non-consensual intimate content, sexual content, harmful deepfakes, violence or hate, privacy violations, intellectual-property infringement, or other illegal content through Safety and Content Reporting or support@cdance.ai. Include a URL or task ID and do not attach illegal material. Appeals may be submitted within 14 days.

C Dance AI is independently operated and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by ByteDance. Third-party model and product names are used only to identify supported or compatible workflows and remain the property of their respective rights holders.
