The Lite first-payment bonus and Unlimited Fair Use limits matter when comparing offers. Unlimited does not mean every model or resolution is unlimited. The pricing page lists which models are included and which use credits. Existing legacy Starter annual contracts may retain their original credit allocations. One-time packs have a stated 365-day validity. Subscription credit rollover depends on a successful renewal and the conditions in the Terms of Service.
How much does a generation cost?
A credit is a unit used to pay for a generation, not a fixed number of images or videos. The quote depends on the chosen model and settings. For video, duration, resolution and input options can change the cost. Membership rates may also differ from the regular rate.
Before starting, select the mode, model and output settings in the workspace. Read the displayed credit cost beside the generation button and compare it with your available balance. Change one setting at a time if the quote is higher than expected. The current quote for the exact task is more useful than dividing a plan price by a generic number of videos.
As a simple illustration of credit value, the $39.99 pack gives 4,000 credits, or roughly one US cent per credit before rounding. A hypothetical task quoted at 40 credits would therefore use about $0.40 of that pack. This is an estimate, not a separate cash charge or a promise that a particular task costs 40 credits. Plan-specific rates and unused or expired credits affect the effective cost.
Can you test cdance.ai for free?
The current sign-up reward is 150 credits. Rewards are subject to eligibility and daily availability, so check the balance actually added to your account. A payment card is not required to register for the free tier. Free credits have an expiration date; the current account balance and reward details show the applicable availability and expiry.
Daily check-in is a separate reward. The first day currently shows 20 credits, with the amount varying across the seven-day sequence. A missed day can affect the streak. Check the in-product check-in screen for the current reward and conditions rather than treating the weekly total as an immediate sign-up balance.
Some models are available to free-credit users, including Seedance 2 Mini, Seedance 1.5 Pro and Seedream 5.0 Lite in the current workspace access rules. Availability does not mean every setting is affordable with a particular balance. For example, a different duration or resolution may change the quote. Other models or settings may require a paid entitlement. Select the task you want, review its cost and access message, then decide whether to continue.
Free-account privacy and paid generation
The workspace identifies free generations as public and offers private generation as a paid benefit. Do not submit confidential client material, personal documents or images you are not authorized to use on a public setting. Before using any paid privacy feature, review the visibility shown for the specific task and the Privacy Policy, including how service providers process inputs.
Private generation controls visibility within the product; it is not a blanket guarantee for every legal, security or confidentiality requirement. If you work under a client contract, check its rules and use material you have permission to upload.
Refunds and failed generations
An unused purchase may be eligible for refund review if requested within three calendar days, or 72 hours, of purchase or renewal. The policy treats an order as used once credits are consumed, a paid generation task is successfully submitted, or paid benefits are used. A request is reviewed against the policy; it is not an automatic guarantee of a refund.
Platform-side failed or interrupted paid generations are reviewed separately. Depending on the case, support may restore credits, provide replacement credits or issue a refund. Verified duplicate charges, incorrect amounts and unauthorized payments are also handled separately from the standard unused-order window. To request help, email support@cdance.ai with your account email, order number, task ID and screenshots if available. Never send card numbers or payment passwords.
Subscriptions can be cancelled; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Consult the Refund Policy for the full conditions, and check checkout for whether the selected offer renews automatically or is prepaid.
What to do if a task is stuck
Open your creation history and check the task status first. A queued or processing task can take longer when a provider is busy or settings are demanding. Avoid submitting the same task repeatedly until you understand its status and possible credit impact. If the status does not resolve, note the model, time, task ID and any error, then contact support.
If a payment window appears, check whether you are signed in, whether the selected model or setting requires a paid entitlement, and whether your available unexpired balance covers the quoted cost. A sufficient-looking balance alone does not establish that every model or option is available to a free account. If the interface does not explain the restriction, send the task settings and a screenshot to support.
Is C Dance AI the same as Seedance AI?
No. Seedance is an AI video model family, while C Dance AI is a separate platform that provides access to supported models. Model names tell you which generation option you are selecting; they do not imply that C Dance AI owns those models or is endorsed by their developers.
