Trust and safety

Acceptable Use Policy and content reporting

These rules apply to all free and paid users and to prompts, uploads, public or private generations, images, video, audio, and generated outputs.

Content standards and prohibited categories

C Dance AI prohibits generating, uploading, publishing, or distributing the following six categories:

  • Pornography, explicit sexual material, or NSFW content.
  • Violence, severe gore, or content intended to enable harm.
  • Hate speech or abuse based on a protected characteristic.
  • Child-unsafe content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualized depictions of minors.
  • Non-consensual deepfakes, impersonation, or deceptive synthetic media targeting real people.
  • Content infringing copyright, trademarks, publicity, privacy, or other third-party rights.

CSAM, terrorism or mass-violence facilitation, weapons-of-mass-destruction instructions, incitement to genocide, and non-consensual sexual deepfakes are zero-tolerance violations. They may result in an immediate ban, evidence preservation, and a report to the appropriate authority where legally required or permitted.

Content moderation

  • Prompts and supported reference images are checked before generation. Required checks fail closed when the moderation service is unavailable.
  • Generation providers receive their available safety-check setting. Automated checks can make mistakes and do not replace user responsibility or human review.
  • We may block generation, restrict or remove content, preserve relevant records, suspend accounts, or terminate access.
  • Flagged and user-reported content may receive priority human review. We also periodically evaluate safety controls as risks change.

Reporting

Provide the content URL or task ID and a concise description. Do not upload, attach, quote, or reproduce illegal material. Urgent child-safety, non-consensual intimate-content, or imminent-harm reports receive priority.

We protect reporter information to the extent permitted by law, review reports impartially using available evidence, and may restrict malicious or knowingly false reports. You may also email support@cdance.ai.

Response targets and enforcement actions

  • Critical child-safety, terrorism, or imminent mass-harm reports: target initial response within 2 hours and resolution within 24 hours.
  • High-risk violations: target initial response within 24 hours and resolution within 3 business days.
  • General violations: target initial response within 3 business days and resolution within 7 business days.
  • Minor violations: target initial response within 5 business days and resolution within 15 business days.

Depending on severity and history, enforcement may include a warning, content removal, feature or credit restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent termination, or legal reporting and cooperation. Serious or repeated violations may be actioned without prior warning.

Users may appeal within 14 days by replying to the report email or contacting support with the report reference and task ID. We target appeal review within 10 business days and use a different reviewer where practical.
