Plan 3–30 second videos with up to 10 keyframes

Kling AI lists a 3–30 second generation range and support for up to 10 keyframe images. Keyframes can mark important poses, visual changes, or story beats so a prompt has clearer timing and composition guidance.

For a first attempt, outline the subject, action, camera movement, and ending, then add only the keyframes that meaningfully change the scene.

Choose 4K output and explore 10-bit HDR (coming soon)

The Kling 4.0 guide lists 720p, 1080p, and 4K output. It also lists 10-bit HDR for 1080p and 4K as coming soon, alongside 21:9, 16:9, 1:1, 9:16, and automatic aspect ratios.

Choose resolution and framing for the final delivery. A 4K option does not guarantee every generation will have the same detail or motion quality; inspect the actual output before using it in a production workflow.

Combine image, video, voice, and subject references

Kling AI’s guide allows up to 10 reference images, up to 5 reference videos with 30 seconds combined duration, and up to 7 elements. The total limit is 15 reference inputs across images, videos, voice references, and elements.
